Designer Elena Salmistraro


Elena Salmistraro is a product designer and artist, born in 1983, living and working in Milan. She graduated in Industrial Design at Politecnico Milano in 2008 together with her husband, the architect Angelo Stoli, and in September 2009 she founded her own architecture and design studio. Her creations are the result of a mixture of art and design, with a great attention to detail. Her projects have been selected for some of the most important exhibitions including: “The New Italian Design”, a traveling exhibition organised by the Triennale Design Museum in Milan curated by Silvana Annicchiarico and Andrea Branzi. In 2017 she also won the “Salone del Mobile Milano Award” for “Best new designer”. In 2018 on the occasion of Marmomac (Verona) she won the “Icon Award”.
